Graphic Designer
Block Club Creative, Buffalo NY
March 2010 – July 2011

Self-directed position; worked on projects for small, local companies, ranging from logo design, identity collateral and print advertisements to brochure, restaurant menu and packaging design
Responsibilities included research and concepting, illustration, photography direction, page layout, setting dielines, implementation of typographical systems, as well as physical design of each piece
Projects included logo design, identity design and brochure development for multiple local businesses and design of marketing collateral for Block Club Creative

August 2008 – June 2009

Projects included developing branding strategies for three locally acclaimed theater productions, and implementing such strategies through the design of marketing collateral such as posters, print advertisements, mailer postcards, t-shirts, and several other creative marketing strategies
Designed and administrated website, including students-only section for rehearsal scheduling, announcements and reminder functions
Trained replacement designer in administration of website, and gave small presentation about best practices in developing creative marketing for theater productions

Implemented new design systems for worldwide ﬁnancial services ﬁrm including conference materials, internal company event promotions and gifts, and company-wide internal advertising and announcement systems
Designed and launched websites for SIG entities RiverCross and SIG Europe Private Equity
Illustrated and designed cardbacks and faces of custom playing cards for recruiting merchandise
Trained replacement co-op and part-time intern in daily tasks, basics of template system and delegated project assignments
